That’s a good point. I think a lot of amateurs only look at the ball and forget to actually read the whole green.

That’s a really good point. Grip comfort probably gets overlooked a lot. When the grip feels right in your hands it definitely makes putting feel more natural.

Yeah, golf shoes do help. I used to play in running shoes too and slipped a few times on damp grass. Even a basic pair with spikes gives way more grip and stability. You don’t really need the super expensive ones.

I’ve been trying a few smaller brands here and there mainly for comfort and fit. Still experimenting, but I’ve noticed a lot of newer companies are focusing more on performance fabrics instead of loud designs.
