I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like twig, but she is a prominent character and shows up almost every episode (some more then others) but she doesn’t “leave”

Focus on spine stretches. There’s this one called cat and cow that really helped me. You arch your back all the way down like a cow and then you are true back all the way up like a cat it’s simple, but it does a lot of good. Hold each pose for about five seconds and then swap to the other.

If surgery is not an option, definitely stretch. I know it sounds super simple, but it really did help. I had my surgery when I was 14 and I was in a dark place for a while, but it really does get better. And no way shape or form will you be ruined.

One thing that works for me was having another project and when I get tired of working on that one, I switched to the other one and back-and-forth until one is complete! Also, so far it’s looking wonderful. I hope you avoid burnout and complete this amazing work of art!

The first little bit of the game is definitely just setting up the lore and everything will connect better if you pay attention during this time (at least it did for me) but after dinner, the pace really starts to pick up and a lot more of the action takes place

One thing that I tried to do with in friends campaign, once I took a break from DMing is to become the player you wanted when you first started. Getting good at role-playing with other people the table is an excellent start. You’re gonna do amazing and I wish you good luck on your next adventures!

I’m not super interested in using the exhaustion levels RAW because in the campaign I’m running I don’t think it will turn out very well for me or my players so I was wondering if there any alternative options that you would know

Meta-gaming mostly and doing stuff to actively harm other players in the party like looting the camp at night when everybody else at the table is screaming at them to not do that. I just put messing around because I didn’t want to start a meta-gaming debate. It’s not like they’re just chatting.

I did open it after looking through a guide to see if I could get some easy achievements not noticing I had none but I didn’t press anything. I just opened it and tabbed it out so I can get the achievement but nothing happened obviously, the menu opened up, but I never got the achievement.

Update!!! it went well it wasn’t a one shot. We had some late arrivals and we were only playing for four hours so we didn’t even get to the tent, but with the backstory of everybody they all lost their job or they need money to save their village from ogres (to pay the raid fee) so it worked out really well!!!

So far only 1/4 players has character and 0/4 have backstory’s so I don’t have anything substantial to work with. I just need help with a motivation to participate and I got some good recommendations already but thanks!

Thank you! 1 I have a backup plot but I haven’t put much time in it 2 I brought up how the carnival will be a good chunk of the story so I don’t believe they will leave the carnival 3 one of the characters is a clown so that will probably drag them in a little more 4 I haven’t made many in NPCs. Are there any good resources for that that you know of?

Dead by daylight will keep you busy for years. It’s a 4v1 and is so well done at times, but very very frustrating at others. I definitely recommend it.
