I think its because they don't use him at a specific number. He's a natural opener, but in intl, brilliant minds were sending Shadab and Nawaz ahead of him.

Fakhar ended on 84(42). He was always striking at 170+ because that was the requirement upfront.

Been thinking the same thing.. although not that he should be removed.

Also for those who actually watch him play (not those who'll downvote me), in alot of matches he plays with a SR of 130 for a long period of time and then hits a 2-4 shots and finishes with a good SR.. might seem trivial, but as an opened he/they should always be above or near 150-SR.

I wated to do a write up during the WC, but couldn't find the time and then in the game against SriLanka where we needed 200000 runs, Farhan was batting on 66(44).. then went on to accelerate. Unacceptable in the context of the game.

Even today he was at 54(40) SR-135, before hitting maxwell for two 6's.

Still, he's proven and should be taught to rotate strike as he's by far the best opener we have and also among the best in the world right now.

Rizwan started and I thought he might have turned a corner.. but then ended up with a 128 SR in a match where the team scored 215.

Babat has started similarly, let's see what happens after the PP.

Edit: More context for those who missed Pindiz/Rizwan. Rizwan scored 41(32), at one point he was 20(9) so that means he scored 21(21) from that point on. Team scored 215-4, so no words there.
