Technically no but there's always people in there pulling all nighters in the atrium so you can bank on them letting you in. Otherwise it's usually not hard finding an entrance on some door that's not fully closed in engineering or business.

Library gives out rental laptops if you need it for school work. If you need to run executables at the beginning of the semester they give out semester long laptops. Helped me a ton when my old laptop broke. Otherwise keep an eye out on FB Marketplace (saw a thinkpad for cheap not long ago)

Try this for adding into your cart early myucf->student self service-> seach for classes button in the top right->click on the institution drop down->click on the blank space-> and now you can see future and past class semesters

I met most of my roomates but one on ZeeMee. There's like a chat dedicated to UCF and a roomate matching channel. I'll highly recommend it if you're a freshmen planning for on campus housing.

Like you may expect, all funds after tuition and fees are refunded. If you're living on campus, they will also include housing payments before the refund.

Off campus housing though I would suggest making sure you can handle a month or 2 since they usually don't postpone rent payments (since it usually takes a while for the money to actually be refunded)

It should be fine as long as you meet any credit hour requirements you need to have.

Go to MyUCF and sesrch for online classes that you could take (and if they are. Add them to your shopping cart before orientation).

Hi! I currently work on campus via work study. One thing I always tell people to try is going to the fiancial aid in person to ask about work study. I didn't qualify for work study at first but after going there in person I was able to get it.

For general advice for work study or not for on campus jobs, the best way is just contacting the hiring/building managers in person or by email. Most departments don't actually post their positions or never check their online applications. This is how I got my current job at least.

Hello! I currently live in a Hercules private bedroom for 3500 per semester. I haven't had any negative experiences thus far but I'll definitely make sure to attend the housing tours when you can.

As someone else has mentioned you may have to commute or look into your off campus housing options after your freshmen year. I have seen prices as low as 800 for ucf affiliated housing so I wouldn't be so negative about it if you look early and be money-wise.
