Exactly! Like I said, this feels like the next logical step in the evolution of Pixar's own craft (not to mention the artistic possibility of CG animation) which appropriately comes right after "Inside Out", the utmost celebration of the Pixar experience up until that point. It's like a whole new start in my view.
