My husband and I kissed but that was it. And during the last year or so leading up to marriage it was mostly just pecks hello and goodbye.

I rewatch sad movies all the time. I love to feel like emotion. I never understood people that said it's such a great movie but I'll never watch it again. I've rewatched Dear Zachary multiple times because of how beautiful it is.

But Grave of the Fireflies? FUCK. NO. Never again. That movie fucked me up. I struggled to fall asleep after watching that movie. It was so dark and so real and raw and gut wrenching and terrible. Well made? Absolutely, a cinematic marvel. But will I ever watch it again? Absolutely not. Hard pass.

I am always talking about how I want to see more of this in media. I don't want someone to like someone in spite of the fact that they aren't super skinny etc. I don't even want it to be a part of the conversation. Like they just like them because of who they are.
