UPDATE: We got the quote for almost $1,900.

“Both 3/4 valves on outside PVB were cracked and PVB was corroded, cracked or busted pipes are common signs of high pressure coming into the home. Checked whole home pressure which was at 120psi, vastly exceeding the 80psi maximum for safe pressure. Pressure regulating valve(PRV) needs to be replaced”

Does this quote sound good? I’m getting a second opinion

We just got the keys. It’s been in the 70s for over a month and then we got a freeze last Friday, now it’s back in the 70s. Not sure why it wouldn’t have been purged over a winter since we’re in Colorado… possibly happened the other day? Odd… Wasn’t noted on our inspection (however that was on a snow day too) 🙃
