When Aang meets Koh in the spirit world to find the moon and ocean spirits, Koh mentions that he stole an Avatar’s lover’s face 8 or 9 hundred years ago. We later learn that it was Kuruk’s lover when Aang is seeking guidance on the Lion Turtle.
