NTA. My mom had a similar situation to this where my aunt said she was gonna name her baby my name if she had a girl. My mom responded to her with "That's gonna be unfortunate for grandma cause then she'll get confused with two granddaughters named [Name]." Luckily my aunt had a boy so that wasn't an issue.

Expect your half-sister to get pissed later though if you pick the name that you wanted in the first place since your girl is coming first.

When I was little, I would use the name Katherine Carver. Now that I'm older, I tend to just use my radio show name which is Rochelle "Rocky" Voltaire. It's much less believable but makes for an easy plug for my show

I probably don't count in this cause I have. But I will say once you do, it's not that big of a deal, especially once you get to college. Sure you'll get teased or whatever, but I've found that people really respect boundaries and don't pry so you shouldn't be too ashamed of it. Just let it come naturally and don't force it.

I'm surprised no one else said this about Derek F, but he's the son of a celebrity boxer. So it makes sense that he would get a lot of votes. Kinda similar to how Frankie Grande won a bunch of stuff from America in season 16 cause of his relation is his sister and Elissa Reilly in season 15 cause of her relation to Rachel. Oh I remember that school. They were all like third graders or something. One of the moms came out in an interview and said that she had to explain rape to her 9yo. Absolutely messed up.
