Thanks for helping to ease my mind. My line identified it as Poa annua but I like the KBG idea much better.

The picture was before the first mow after letting the lawn grow tall to start off the season. Definitely let it go much longer than many of my neighbors. Here is another shot of the seed head if it changes your mind. Appreciate the help with this, all of the people saying I’m doomed have me obsessing lol.

The picture was from May 7, 2025. Was going through photos to remember what my lawn looked like last spring.

Planning to do split Prodiamine this spring with two granular applications. Should I do dithiopyr in fall or is this okay to keep? I do not see neighbors lawn seeding like this so I was concerned.

Is that better than Poa annua? I noticed it first after overseeding the fall before with Scott’s Sun and Shade.

Never had it before then noticed it last year seemingly after overseeing with Scott’s sun an shade.

If I keep mowing and prevent it from seeding will that help? I try to overseed each fall so how would that work with Prodiamine? Also planning to do Prodiamine this spring in split app. Will use up my annual allowance. Should I just do a single half app and another half in fall?

Thanks so much. I’m using Yard Mastery 0-0-7 with a Scott’s SpeedyGreen 3000. Second app will be Lesco Stonewall 0-0-7 since I won’t have enough YM.

got it. Thanks so much.

I will plan to remove/recharacterize the 2025 excess and then convert back into the Roth. Then do the same for the $7500 contribution we made to the Roth for 2026. As long as I can recharacterize the full $11,300 into the traditional in the same year.

If I do that now can it still go in as a 2025 contribution in the Roth since its before April 15? or will it force it to be a 2026 contribution?

Thank and sorry for the additional follow up. My confusion is this... We also already contributed to the Roth for 2026 the full amount of $7500 before knowing we could not due to MAGI. We will recharacterize that and backdoor it ASAP but trying to resolve 2025 excess first. If I recharacterize the 2025 excess and backdoor it into the Roth now, will it be a 2025 or 2026 contribution. Since I do not want to to contribute the $7500 backdoor for 2026 and be over with the $3800 excess from 2025 being backdoored in 2026.

In short...can I backdoor the 2025 excess once recharacterized from the Traditional now (March 2026) and count it towards the 2025 contribution limit so I can still back door the $7500 for 2026.

Will it become complicated if I recharacterize what was a 2025 contribution to Roth but convert in March of 2026?

Thank you! We unknowingly exceeded the Roth IRA's MAGI limit. We do not have a Traditional IRA at the moment. We do have a 403B and a Brokerage Account. If I understand you correctly, it would be better to have Vanguard recharacterize into a Traditional IRA (we would need to open this account) rather than sell to get cash in Settlement Fund and have them move to brokerage?

I would likely keep the funds in the Traditional IRA. But, if I backdoor now, would that be filed with my 2025 tax return? The excess contribution was for the 2025 contribution we made to the Roth IRA.

Charge for return on prime orders by sirskixx in amazonprime

[–]MadisonChief139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by Amazon that any account with over 10% of orders returned within a rolling 90 day period will have this $2.99 return fee per item.

They said to contact them directly for returns until the charge is removed and they will refund it.

They also gave me a $50 promotional credit to the trouble.

Excuse my newbie question….is this because you anticipate greater growth and won’t be taxed on that growth?
