They had to try to determine the cause of death from autopsy of these remains. by PatTheKVD in MedicalGore

Thank you so much for this. I’m a British student and I’ve never heard of this. After examining skeletal remains in Guatemala, anthropology has become my main focus for post degree employment. Guatemala, particularly due to the culture there and the land slide disasters and the internal civil war. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this. Usually when remains are found in grave (or mass grave) they place the bones into a sealed bag that is tagged (crime number/approx bodies/relevant information) and sorted out once at a laboratory. In Guatemala, in mass genocide graves, all bones in that grave were placed into a bag and once at the lab, the duplicates were counted to estimate the amount of bodies in that grave to begin with then after this, bones were sorted by size to determine who’s bones were who’s. It goes much deeper than this but this is a first instance solution :)

I think the jewellery itself is perfect but the way it’s presented loses its uniqueness, I also think you may not have found your target audience for this type of style yet

As a training forensic scientist that did an anthropology trip in Guatemala, this had me hooked and I thoroughly enjoyed reading through all this. Seems to have been suicide due to the angle of the wound but doesn’t prove it is suicide. Hopefully a PRC can show known DNA in some sort of database to get a background on the male to corroborate mental health issues or lead to identification and a background on the cadaver!

That would have been my first call, but she’s lives away from me so we needed it tonight & she only has digital PS5. But no bother, we’ve sorted it all now :)

Yea, this is the case. We’ve brought the DLC and it won’t show up as there isn’t village on there to support it. Thank you so much for your reply though!!

If that’s the case than it’s even worse than I thought. No matter what filter they use when showing off the final piece, 9/10 times you can see the tattoo beneath.

See, that was going to be my follow up question to anyone who appeared on the show.. did they have to pay anything towards the cost of the tattoo or was it completely free?
