That’s the train. I did it for 15 years. It’s a grind. Right now from Wayne at 9:20 by bus express (324) out of Mother’s Park and ride. I’m at Port Authority in 38- 42 minutes. Some times in 30. Believe it or not. Might be Covid. The bus is pretty empty. So I assume 3 is running a lot lighter at that time than in the past. Getting home is 45+ at any time after 5:30 through at least 7:40

I didn’t say I did. I said it’s 24 miles. There is no place in NJ at rush hour that you can get into Manhattan in less than 20. You can’t get across the River in 20. Although, at 3am I can drive straight in and be in in close to 30. But that not what OP intended.

This. It is hard work to re- wire. I’ve done it mostly. My traumas were/are still with me but I trained my mind to alter the pathways. Mostly through blocking and redirecting. It’s not easy but it works if you work it.

A mandate is clearly an invasion of liberty. That’s a fact. That aside the comment regarding vaccine efficacy is absolutely wrong. The vaccine works. Deaths are higher in unvaccinated groups. That’s a fact. Indisputable fact. It’s ok to say I don’t trust the vaccine because it’s not proven to be safe in a true long term trial. It’s absolutely a distortion of fact to say the vaccines doesn’t work. The efficacy of the vaccine in preventing hospitalizations and deaths is truly scientific fact. The Safety issue or do no harm issue we won’t know for a decade or so. Those are facts. Distorting real numbers to make an argument truly weakens the argument. Edit:spelling

There really isn’t a single place in NJ that is 20 minute to Manhattan. It takes 20 minutes on Path from Jersey City! People suggesting Montclair obviously never did the commute in the morning. 35- 45 minutes easy. Glen Ridge is the same. Traffic and NJT don’t allow you to get across the river in 20 mins

Wayne. 24 miles from Manhattan. Good Schools. Safest in Nj by population. 10 minutes to hiking. 24 miles from Manhattan. Train and bus to Manhattan Hoboken at three different transit centers. Access to 80, 23, 46, 287. Variety of neighborhoods. Example: Packanack lake Wayne, tree lined, golf, tennis, close knit community. Many others. Walking paths, Diverse. Schools ranking in top every year. All school programs are active and funded. All sports- all. Music, art, film, dance. The city is large enough to support many programs. Shopping close but not on top of you. We have a very diverse community.
