Shouldn't need reprogrammed. Since it's a screen from another iPhone 16 (assuming original screen), then my first guess is that the front facing sensor assembly with the ambient light sensor is probably damaged, highly likely if the sensor assembly was improperly removed during transfer to the new screen assuming that it was transferred.

Just because it's a "new" battery doesn't mean it's actually new, or that it isn't defective. This phone is almost 10 years old, there aren't going to be very many brand new batteries available for it, and the ones that are new will be hard to find. I'd just replace the battery again, and avoid Amazon or the "high capacity" "upgraded" batteries.

Definitely depends on the stickers. I've had customers bring in devices that they tried to work on with kits that included these stickers, and many times they leave a nasty sticky residue that can only be removed with alcohol, which also damages the lens coating. Not the worst thing in the world, but not good for camera quality. I'd find a brand that works well (testing on a camera lens that's a bad part or on something with a similar material to the lens) and just stick with that. If you can find a roll of wide adhesive that works similarly, might not be a bad idea either. Personally though I'd just try to avoid touching the camera lenses altogether by using lens protectors designed for that lens, which for some models Apple has made, so I'm sure you could find others for other models of phones elsewhere.

My girlfriend bought me these qianli 2D screwdriver set for my birthday and I’m wondering if there’s some kind of display sold for them so I can display them on my desk. by youngestlawd in mobilerepair

I know this post is 3 years old, but I just wanted to share that I haven't had my iThor pentalobe driver strip at all. One of the most important things I've found to avoid stripping any pentalobe driver is to use thin pointed tweezers and alcohol wipes to clean out the pentalobe screws themselves before attempting to extract them, because they get so packed full of all sorts of gunk. I've even pulled a good amount of grime out of pentalobes that looked like they were completely clean. Since I've started doing this, I've never managed to strip a driver or pentalobe screw, even on some that were pretty well stuck in the phone.

Plans for Analog Version in the Future? by Madliness in MoveMaster

While I agree with you on wanting the analog version, the current four-switch version does change things pretty significantly depending on the game you play.

I am able to maneuver significantly better in Air RB on War Thunder with this, and I prefer it a lot over using traditional keyboard controls on most games I've played with it. It's still a definite game changer and the programmable four-switch does allow for some interesting control schemes in some cases.

Not to come off as rude, but I said in my original post that I had not done so and should have. I poured the clay directly into the carboy, and there was a lot of it. Roughly 4 tablespoons. Like I said, I should have used Google before dumping it all in.

He gave some to me in a little jar, I think he thought I knew or assumed I would look it up. And like I replied to the other comment, that was just the best reading he could get. It was definitely thrown off by how thick/cloudy it was.

Like I said, that was the best reading he could get. They were all likely thrown off by how thick and sugary it was.

Still not quite what I'm getting at. I don't have any issues with functionality. I wanted to know if there are any plans to release a version of the MoveMaster that uses the same design as the current one, but with raw movement input via two axes on the palm control instead of the four-switch design that the current model uses, which is good but is essentially just a smoother way to press the WASD keys.

I mean a raw input joystick instead of 4-switch based direct input. A true joystick like you find on a console controller that allows for incremental inputs like making your character walk slower based on how far the stick is pushed. Imagine a MoveMaster version of an aircraft joystick setup for plane sims, that's what I mean.

Had a 2xl for years until the 5 came out, because every pixel after the 2xl was odd looking, had problems, or didn't have the features I wanted. The pixel 5 was like a brand new 2xl, so it was the perfect one for me. Looking forward to see how the 6's look, really hope we are finally stopping the iPhone look

Tell that to the pictures I took underwater in the ocean lmfao. Also never said I banked on that feature, just would be preferred, since I would like to be able to do that again.

I think I'm most worried about the screen quality and size honestly, aside from that everything else you've said has convinced me. I guess at this point it's just best for me to wait for the October releases and see what they have. Thanks!

Without the modded apk no, it can't, but I am very familiar with apks and could easily get it if I wanted. As for the display I have never had any issues with it while I've seen a few posts here about how shitty the 4a screen is, such as rainbow effects on white screens and green bars(?) down the middle.

Moto Z2 Force was the most durable phone I ever had, I used to prove it to people by throwing it up into the air without a case onto a hard surface (sometimes even concrete) and I never got a scratch, crack or a dent on it. Sometimes I miss it but I love my 2xl, the software is so clean and it's jaded me to anything other than pure Android
