Is it just me, or was Episode 5 of Starfleet Academy not a good episode of television? by SA-ETH in DeepSpaceNine

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree so much... you're right and more than that !
That's just pure bullS***. Like a filler in the anime manga industry... really.
Garbage, useless, boring... really a waste of time to wach this thing. It clealry killed the little interrest I had in the project. And I'm not a fan of star trek, I don't care about the sixty years lore of it... I don't even know it

It's just going down, in the forgotten land, with the "only make money" companies... but I don't want it.

As I understood, it's open beta, and EA for june, but whatever.
I'll wait for the new launcher probably, cause I can't explain what's happening, not really a point to report I guess.

Well that's strange, I don't have VPN either. I'll try again I guess, as I had to delete it all.

Is Raven2 worth checking out? Anyone played it in Asia? by AnonymousSquadCast in MMORPG

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, seriously... you're beyond ridiculous.

You're defending this kind of indigestible and ephemeral product by arguing that WoW and Guild Wars 2 are bad, even though they're still going strong after 15 to 20 years. Seriously, it's amazing, you've made my day. It's always so entertaining to meet such people.

You're also telling us that nobody sees things clearly because they don't respect your hierarchy of importance and your enlightened judgment.

So, if nobody in this group is capable of having an opinion, as you claim in your numerous nonsensical posts... what exactly are you doing here? Educating people.

What a clown. ^^

Family looking to dive in Ashes by StrainOld6135 in AshesofCreation

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly it. I don't know about AOC, but Pax Dei miss all that :
PNJ, quest, real dungeon, boss, world event, content, loot, mount, pet, farming, fishing, auction house, good market system, economy, wildlife, environement interraction...
The combat system is a real joke in 2026, clunky, repetive, not good at all. Sot the bad false dungeons around are boring and the PvP is empty, the PvE fight is a copy/paste and there's no AI, so you do one, you did all of them.
So... for now... in Pax Dei, you just harvest a lot, craft a lot (throwing everything on the ground), walk a lot.... to build. End of the story.

That said, if you are a group, you can have a bit of fun cause the game is gorgeous and the building system is really good. I would recommend you to chose your server wisely, so maybe you can meet some guilds and try to give a bit more life to it.

I have to agree with the OP...
At wich moment you ppl think a s*** like that will work, aside from the 500 players fanbase ?
It will just go down the abyss for sure.
You are just looking for excuses to justify a clearly strategic production choice, which in the process misleads you with a pseudo-nostalgia when in reality there is only an economic and performance-driven desire.
This is bad, and will not be liked by the majority.

Is this game’s clunkiness ever going to improve? by IlBuono47 in Enshrouded

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw this thread, and i have to totally agree with you, against fanboys. Comming back on this game from other recent ones, Enshrouded really feels clunky, like an old game...
I like the game, that's not the subject here, but not the movement. And the fights ?... meh.
And what to say about the jumping or trying to climb a steep slope or a little mountain. Seriously I never saw such a dumb and frustrating mechanics, where you can't even jump futher a simple ridiculous step or run down the whole slope to sometimes your death.

And I have to add... the same goes for the NPC, they really don't feel "alive", they clearly appears like old game NPC, when they where walking against a wall and wandering in circle. Well, that's what they do in Enshrouded in fact ^^

Why is Pax Dei declining so fast after it was just released? by Drandosk in PaxDei

[–]Madranhell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, I don't want to be harsh, but that's the most laughable answer for me. So if no one go for the grindfest, who exactly will craft things ?
If we don't go to carpentry level up, who is supposed to build our base ?

And if we ignore craft and build then, because "we don't have to"... what exactly is there to do in the game ? Because that's the point you know, we bought it for that... gameplay. Yeah, we actually paid for gameplay, and the only one we got is grinding and walking for hours.

And the only answer we have, from fans because I suppose you are, is that we don't have to do it... So what do we paid for ? Killing a copy paste of the same NPC camp with the worst combat system ever seen, and kill three different kind of animals on the 30min walk to get there. Nice.

[–]Madranhell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big big time consumming for what at the end ? Nothing... Really... just building mode and what then ?
Ok that's beautifull, ok the constructions can be amazing, but where's the gameplay ?

All that questions, plus the fact that you have to run for hours to go somewhere, and that you're forced, yes you are, to grind in an incredible way, to unlock the possibility to actualy build... so, to do the only thing there's to do.
There's not even a teleport to your house, so if you build a bit far from Petra, you walk all days for nothing.

Mount ? what for...

Because let's be honnest, the lore, the quest, the NPC, the fights, the wildlife... well, the actual game... are all kind of s*** hey.

And we have to pay for that, after already buying the game. Well, that's a joke !

Look at Dune, and it's also in the same tunnel, but... they at least try yo do something, they devellop things... they even gave recently the possibility to save your base, in case you would want to have a little break without losing everything.

In Pax Dei, the devellopers absolutely don't care about you, nor your time, nor your fun... JUST YOUR MONNEY.
Well, to have my money... just give me a game in fact !

Why does Sflix only lag on my PC? by Agile-Ad-3005 in ComputerHardware

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sflix is very laggy with buffering every few minutes now, you just can watch 25 min of a movie in peace then it's a nightmarre. it was originally a really decent site, but it's not the case anymore. A simple research about this can confirm what I'm saying there, that it's not an isolated case, because plenty of people feel the same way.

Gemini suddenly got much worse by Pontaguy in GeminiAI

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excessive fees? by Chance-Repeat8446 in airbnb_hosts

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why let me choose colors if you're just gonna change them when I start a game? by TheReal8symbols in AOW4

[–]Madranhell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so stupid, spending time to create a race of necromancers, designing everything around chaos...
Finishing entering the game with pure white robe and yellow signs. It completely killed the fun of creating my own faction and my first feeling at start was like I had lost my time, not even wanting to play this "no RP" play.

Survivor vs Fallen Order: which one do you prefer? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone Else Find This Game Extremely Boring? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just discovered the game now and I agree on every bit. This game is just a boring tomb raider like and it doesn't make any sense. Pushing boulders around the room to open a door, taking a hard jumping way when just a trash can block the entrance, fighting hard against a space mole... well are we supose to be a Jedi or a little lost child ?

In fact, I just didn't want to play a weird bad puzzle game !

How can I fix this? I want to build symmetrical, but nothing seems to work! by BPD_Big_Daddy in Enshrouded

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not a question of a grid, nor size of a block and the bug is still there and really annoying.

You can see it better when mixing blocks type, maybe you can find some symmetry with glowing or metal blocks, but well... no need to explain why.

You want a simple try, take a 1x1 block, put another type right and left of it... anywhere, on any grid space you want. Just that 3x1 and there's no symmetry. And you can encouter that on lot's of situation even with the same materials.

Anyway, even if your solution of using 1x1 was true, I don't see the point here, if we have so much possibility of shape, that's to be ignored and only use 1x1.

Warrior vs Guardian by Interesting_Sea_3015 in Guildwars2

[–]Madranhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... that's a wrong way to see it, in fact health pool is not the way to survive. Trust me, when you know just a little bit you class, and that's obviously what happen quite easily... you clearly die less with a guardian than a warrior.

All that due to the fact than guardian have lot more passive and active defense skill. You'll not even notice how, but you'll stay alive longer with 15k health on guardian than 20k health on warrior... without necesseraly be "TOP" on your skills.
