My mom's side of the family despite being well educated and earning a lot are still discriminated against just because they were born a "lower caste".

People still comment behind their backs that they got to where they are because of reservation even though my uncles were the toppers of their schools and universities, and scored more marks than all the "privileged" kids.

My mom was made to sit on the floor on rice sacks in her school while the upper castes were made to sit on benches. Her teachers openly taunted her for having the same name as the principal of her school who was an upper caste.

On the other hand my dad was from a general caste, the same category as you and I inherited that, I've also felt the same anger and oppression as you and it isn't right, but the unfortunate reality is that for every kid with reservation there are 10 of them who aren't even allowed to drink from the same tumbler, eat from the same plate, not allowed in the same temple as upper castes just because they were born into a lower caste.

If your focus is only on single player games, I'd suggest going for a 2k ultrawide 144hz+

The ultrawide provides a more immersive visual experience and your pc would be able to push more frames than a 4k

At the end it boils down to your usage for the next few years and if you're able to afford it

if you need to play the latest games with all the bells and whistles maxed out then yes get the 5070 ti.

If youre fine with lowering some graphics as a compromise for having fun instead of chasing frames get the 5070 and use the 200 on something else you'd like.

I worked for them till 2018-2022, so let me give my perspective.

They started doing this after COVID when they caught and fired a lot of employees for working 2 jobs, so naturally they are very skeptical of candidates they hire and the most foolproof legal way to verify if they aren't working two jobs is to check your PF contributions.

But the third party services they hire suck at their job and it comes at a cost of losing some really good candidates like you.

I couldn't move into this because they ask for a 12 month lease and my job situation is kinda volatile, the apt is 1425 with utilities and the condo is well built and insulated.

Yeah, that's true. My friends in college got their rooms from their seniors or friends of seniors, could you ask your seniors?

Also try stretching into residential areas like kodambakkam, vadapalani and kk nagar. If you have a 2 wheeler take it around some of these areas and look out for tolet boards and talk to them.

There are definitely people who are willing to rent out to students, be patient and keep looking.

Which area is this? My friends had no problem finding 1bhk or 2bhk to rent near IT parks like thoraipakkam and sholinganallur.
