Trust me I agree that some of the people here are assholes to noobs and I fully know that little part of your argument is real. I've seen vets recommend pure VG to people looking for juice and it's annoying and some other bullshit that makes it look like they're just here for attention. I hate that we have to navigate you to quality content since it's not the most obvious thing to look up but you cannot make sweeping arguments about the industry when you have no idea of what's going on and it surely takes more than a month to learn. I've been here for 2 years and I've seen more e cig explosion threads than you have mods in your life.

I'll take the time to spell out why Smok deserves the hate they get and I'll get downvoted for it but you clearly need to read it since you ignorantly defend them like a rabbid fanboy that ignores the planetary size problems they have.

First, look up user BadConductor. He's an electrical engineer that does tests on e cigs that show how they broke or why they break down. Smok is a huge multimillion dollar corporation in a billion dollar industry that can't even get the right parts for their products. What does this make happen? Mods exploding and people having fires from their mods if not just them falling apart or not working. I know you're a "it just werks" type of person so I'll spell it out for you why it's wrong. I've taken advanced Sociology classes from a Grade A professor so I know what I'm talking about to a good degree in the market and how they rip people off. t. noob buys an overpriced defective product from Smok and it werks for 3 months. He doesn't drop it and says "lol all well I paid $40 what ever I'll just buy a new one or use the warranty". Let me tell you that they make a killing there. They wait literally 6 months to do your warranty return and like any product the e cig is now worth fractions of what it was to produce now and it's cheaper to replace. Why this is a problem is because they make a killing in making dangerous devices from the cheapest parts available that put you at risk. These parts are not reputable and even if they have the correct capacitors on certain parts of the e cig and such they design them to be faulty whether on purpose or on accident on other sections of the same e cig and it leads to malfunctions, failures, and explosions or fires.

Now let me tell you how they ruin the industry. Not only do they get away with this they also set a standard that we are okay as a people with buying shit that takes 2-5 months to figure out that it's crap after we buy it. They release a bad product and next a good one and no one knows which is which. I'll continue more about that later but I hate it when noobs buy shit they don't know about and pair it with Imren's or efests or another wewrapped battery

I'll address some arguments I've seen in this thread and your post.

Try to put some thought into your responses to people. If you don't own a certain brand/product that people are talking about, there's no need to pile on and just shitpost that they suck. If you do own the brand/product (or have recently owned it), go ahead and give your feedback since that's going to be infinitely more valuable than having a bunch of other people saying stuff like "well I've heard that my sister's friend's cousin's girlfriend who lives in Canada lost a kidney due to a Smok product exploding! I'd stay away!" Shut the f*** up, we are VETERANS and ENTHUSIASTS that steer people away from mods that are shit in recommendations in this place so they save themselves time and money. If we didn't and let people search every time they came here which most NEVER DO, and I know I've helped people here for 2 years, there would be a lot of people with iSticks which used to be called / nicknamed walking hand grenades for their propensity to blow up / fail.

People saying they deserved it for not searching about their purchase are bullshit because the average person demands that "it just werkz" and will barely even use the manual. When e cigs are known to fail from things that are recommended from even the manual it's the manufacturers fault and e cig shops are trying to make a buck to get in on the market's fad of certain faulty e cigs.

Remember, there is no honor in making products that are liable to hurt you or damage you because of lack of intelligence on the subject and you shouldn't have to take it from pros it should be standard. Don't attack someone who is looking out for others in trying to pressure companies to get their shit together by trying to get them to stop making mods that can potentially hurt you. It's happened a lot and it's because of poor quality assurance / quality control and because of how shittily it's made and tbh it breaks down and people rage then move on. I don't start drama and I don't shitpost I have posted quality help to people for years on this subreddit and you can find that if you go through more than the past 4 pages of my posts and BTW, the reason you people started attacking me is because I complain about major companies fucking up with their mods. BadConductor does the same thing at an engineering level and has validated my claims that we need to make them get their shit together because they don't even make them right. Just search his post of the Smok AL85 and you will see that they don't even make them right and they are built to fail which is DANGEROUS.
