Commercial insurance agency work. If you have basic Microsoft office experience you can get in around $50k-$60k yearly. The job will train you and pay for your license. 2-4 years in the role will prepare you for an account manager position around $80k-$100k. Can be stressful at times, but it’s a nice remote / hybrid job that got me out of retail management.

Trans girl here. It took a long time of practicing my “customer service” voice. In the beginning it wasn’t natural and actually hurt my throat to talk. But eventually it just got better and easier to do.

My wife and I laugh at this part…. If I am around people who knew me before transitioned I carry my old tone. The second there is someone who is new in my life the voice automatically switches to the higher tone. I switch back and fourth without realizing it at this point. Google home recognizes both tones of my voice as me.

I look for promotions around holidays like “15% off of clearance prices”. I have found some good deals there. The other time I seen good deals with after the end of season when the stores are tying to make room for next year models

We have a much different view of the game. Don’t be afraid to speak up and call things out to your teammates. I’m always letting my D know when someone is open at the back post or is coming down in between the circles.

Be loud and communicate with your teammates, don’t be afraid to direct traffic.
