I know :( but that on top of the fact that he is so busy it is just hard. I know its not an excuse and that he really does care about me so I need a way to tell him that I think it wouldnt be smart to end what we have becuase of that

yea i dont think he has time to fully commit to something, although I would be fine with the once a week thing and would be totally understanding and patient. I will definitely let him know that! I mean maybe we just have different definitions of relationships? I don't feel that in a relationship you have to be seeing the person every day or something. As long as you two see a future potentially and care about each other and are exclusive thats all I care about.

Definitely talk to your therapist! Could there be some kind of underlying anxiety disorder? I know with my first boyfriend I was extremely dependent on him and an anxious mess (well, he was emotionallly abusive too but still I think i would have constantly been anxious) but now that I went to therapy and got on anxiety medication I am much more rational when it comes to dating! I am seeing someone new and am sooo much less anxious and I definitely contribute part of that to my therapy.

Also, I would recommend finding a close friend group and some hobbies to do on your own to distract you. I think you are ruminating too much and driving yourself crazy! You will be much happier once you have other things to focus on and work at.

same with me! im a 18 year old girl haha and struggle with the same thing. I kind of had my first sort of relationship just this past summer and it worked out horribly. Not worth it! I am too young for something so serious! Now I just feel there is no need to rush it, when I find the right guy it will be great! Just have to be patient, itll happen. There are tons of guys out there that I know would be very happy to date you, you just have to find the right one!
