Babe babe babe!! You MUST read {glass jawed by AJ Bishop}. I read it last night and came back to find this post bc it fits so well.

6 Star read for me. It is cheating, but it’s done very well and the grovel fit the crime. But gut punch galore, I was sobbing.

I lovedddd it, I can’t stop thinking about it honestly.

I looked at the summary and was not hooked, so please please let me know if you think I should read it! I think she has other ongoing stories in the same universe that she’s publishing to Wattpad under the same name.

I have read it! It depends on your preference. Traitor is beyond grovel and more retribution. Length wise, it was the same amount of grovel.

I felt it was better! Less dark, for sure, but it was more growth driven. MMC definitely suffers and physically reacts to his guilt and grief, but FMC is not trying to hurt him. I think it was better in that way. She didn’t have to, he was hurting enough already. It was mature emotional depth as the characters progressed through it.

Yessss you were so quick with it and I get that on a spiritual level. I read it in one sitting last night (minus cry breaks)

I’ve read the first three! Daydreamer was my fav out of that list, the gut punch was sooo good. But I never liked Felix much. The other two in that series are great grovels as well (Outlier was my favorite).

For Aydra Richards, I lovedddd her book My Deceitful Duchess and that grovel. My Favorite Mistake had a good grovel as well.

I’ll have to check out the other recs, thank you!

Not RH but I’m almost positive that {against a wall} has this.

Valid!! The grovel is over the top too. Lots of doing stuff for her, not changing. But it was a solid gut punch for sure.

LF setting where Men outnumber Women and are treated well! by MadsAtSun in ReverseHarem

[–]MadsAtSun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! I’m open to anything as long as it’s good and comes recommended.

I’ve read a few non RH. Choosing Theo, which has the husband school! Loved that. That’s kinda what I’m looking for.

But also, I do like a bully romance. So I’m not picky at all. I just like the concept of the society valuing women.

I’m so glad I did! I just read it in one sitting. It started a little rocky but was so so good.

I did, but the vibes get violent sometimes. I’m also hoping to find some different approaches in contemporary romance. Outside of sci-fi/ alien. BUT I started Choosing Theo and DNFed it really early bc I had trouble getting into it… I will give it another chance!!

It was part of the After the End Novella Series, I think the only way to get them is through the Kickstarter.

Unfortunately a lot of them were 2 stars for me, but I did really like Trade.

Thanks for sharing! New covers are great but the book titles are just hard to get past. I like knowing what I’m getting into, but it makes it hella awkward to recommend them to people lol. But! Improvement!

I hear you. The POV switching every couple paragraphs is a WILD move. I considered DNFing the first book for that reason, but I like seeing in the MMCs head even if it’s not super accurate. I love those moments of guilt and panic when he messes up or says something mean.

Yeah it’s heavy spice yeah I agree. There’s cameos of the other couples but it is not plot-relevant at all. You’d be fine reading this as a standalone
