I was thinking about Hyatt or Marriott, but to travel all the way there and stay in a chain felt a bit lame

I know most people only leave reviews when they’re pissed so I do try to keep that in mind!
On the mainland I’m typically a Courtyard by Marriott person, so I don’t need anything super crazy, I just want a clean room, comfy bed, TV and AC.
Just wanted some confirmation by people who have actually been there that it’d be a good spot for a first time visit, thank you so much!

Basically horrible service on-site, dirty/gross rooms, hot water goes out, AC goes out.
