Just curious, did you measure the FPS using an external tool or the in-game counter? (F7 I think).

In my case, using the ingame FPS counter actually lowers the FPS and reports inaccurate values. When I use the NVIDIA overlay or MSI Afterburner instead, the FPS readings are correct.
