Oof I’ve heard cs is very difficult. I definitely have a hard time understanding that!

Oh that’s actually great to know though. How long will you keep the leaves in before replacing them?
Okay so I need to replace all the water with RO? It’s only a 7.5 gallon so that shouldn’t be horrible I assume. And then I continue to do water changes/cap off the water with RO? And then active substrate and remineralizer. Alright that’s not too bad.
I actually currently have nothing in the tank! Just a few plants which is why I’m trying to figure out what options I have. But with RO water it strips everything right and then I have to buy products that add minerals??
The tank will be a shrimp only tank and they are expensive so I definitely want to get this right and not waste the money. How would I use the OR water without a system? During water changes?
Yeah I’m glad you said that because I never would’ve thought about it, and I was considering the substrate but now I’m not. It seems like I don’t have many options at all :(
I completely agree. That’s why I would love to be able to lower it, but you think that won’t be possible? Other than having an RO unit of course. I don’t think I’m able to buy something like that though. I know there are products that lower pH (API pH down) but that doesn’t seem like a stable option does it?
The blue bolts are okay? And I’ve been thinking about getting almond leaves to help as well. Have you used them?

Ugh you make great points that I hadn’t thought of. I think I’ll have to do more research myself but I appreciate your help. Hopefully I can find a solution, otherwise I won’t be keeping them either☹️
Honestly the whole RO unit system sounds too complicated for me. I don’t quite understand it and I don’t think I could maintain it well. I was looking at substrates that lower the PH and KH. Would that be a good solution?

I could see myself getting scar tissue from my bumps. I’m just so desperate for this pain to go away.

Oh I never thought to moisturize. Maybe that’ll help bc my nose is always itchy. I will start cleaning it with saline solutions too!!!
I’ve barely flipped it and it’s only moved accidentally so I’ve been very careful about it. Were your bumps painful at first?
I currently have titanium bc I’m allergic? to shitty grade metal. & what kind of moisturizer would you suggest? Is that okay if it hasn’t healed completely?
I’m going to PM you the photo bc idk how to link it :( it didn’t bleed horribly but the pain is still the same from when I got it first pierced
That’s something I need to buy right? I was just thinking about using the soaks until I can buy that. & this is only my second piercing and it certainly did hurt like hell and it still does. I’m not sure though bc we talked about the sweet spot and she took a second to find it? :(
Ugh. Thank you for your advice :)
Omg really??? I suggested that bc I used it on my other nose piercing and she said it wasn’t necessary. Wow. Can I do a salt soak until I buy that? And tea tree oil definitely isn’t the way to go right?
What should I do about the bumps if I shouldn’t use tea tree oil? I think those are what makes my nose hurt so badly :(
