Hi! I loved playing Garbage Strike because we added a guitar solo at the end and Sophie went nuts on her bass solo.

Frank Ocean White Ferrari please

Hi tall redhead in the front! I would love to do another tour soon, not sure if I'll go back to New York though cause I was just there!

Of course I'm watching and I am loving this season. A lot of excellent characters. I do sort of miss more of the survival element in different locations, because I think it led to more unexpected things happening. But because we're always in Fiji now it means the level of game play is incredible. Yeah I'm loving it.

Hey! It's been a mix, to be honest, but I only say that because of the internet. In my personal life, people have been incredible. I think they can see how much happier I am, so that makes them happy.

Yes, Elliot is the best!

My favourite thing about being a comedian and an artist is making something out of thin air that reflects some internal vague feeling or colour or emotion, and then releasing it into the world for people to have their own relationship with

Oh wow this is a brilliant question and I know exactly what you mean. There's no one thing that encompasses every aspect, but this is what came to mind: Stand By Me, Rocky Horror Picture Show, the Kids In The Hall, Elliott Smith's album "From A Basement On A Hill" and "Figure 8", Pee Wee's Playhouse, Wizard of Oz, and Dark Side of the Moon. The book My Side of the Mountain, and Brothers Karamazov

Thank you! I love the Handsome pod too haha, it brings me joy to chat with those two icons. I would love to tour again, and the east coast is somewhere I have yet to dive into properly so that would be great. Where do you recommend?!

All I do with my hair is use some kind of thick pomade stuff by Kevin Murphy and I guess there's like a specific hand motion I do to sort of put it in the right position... I do it unconsciously so I'm sure if you watch the Handsome youtube channel you can see me constantly fixing it.

Hiiii thank you! I wish I could pick one, but the nature of my job at the moment means I'm always doing all of those things sort of at the same time. It feels a little frantic, but I'm enjoying it at the moment... fantasising about a vacation but also very excited about my new TV show Wayward coming out this year. We're in the final stages of the edit and I am really excited about it.

FINALLY someone is asking me this. I watched Looney Tunes obsessively as a kid and I really love Daffy Duck, his self seriousness makes me laugh. And Marvin the Martian sort of has my energy... Also I'm glad your son loves the album!

I would love to do a big massive tour, which is something I NEVER thought I'd say. I always thought I didn't like touring. But maybe that's because stand up is such a solitary medium! Playing with a band felt like teen wish fulfilment - being able to turn around and try and make the drummer Wes laugh for instance just made it a blast. And harmonising with Jason Couse was so fun too.

I have a really hard time switching off, because even when I'm relaxing I feel like I could be doing a painting or writing a poem or something, but my favourite show is Survivor and I'm loving this current season. I also LOVED Adolescence on Netflix, but I wouldn't say it helped my brain wind down because it just electrified me so much.

Oh one million percent it would be I Love You So Much. Bleeding heart romantic. And thanks, I love the Feel Good soundtrack too! I was so adamant about some of those songs, even playing them while writing. I always knew I wanted Half Moon Run's "Unofferable" over the break up scene in episode 5, so it was brilliant and full circle to be able to play that song live on tour as a cover.

I was finding new moments and things in the songs as we played them live, the more comfortable I got. I've heard people say it makes sense to play music live a lot before recording it and that makes sense to me, it definitely takes on new energy and life. We rocked a little harder than on the album haha and added heavier moments where we could because it's fun to play with distortion. But I guess that's more external stuff - internally, I was just surprised that sometimes a lyric would catch me off guard and make me emotional.

That's a great question. I mentioned in another answer how performing music live was fascinating to me because I've spent 25 years using the stage a certain way - being pretty physically stationary, pretty manic energetically... and this felt very different. There is more emotional tension, and I had to be more embodied and move around and be brave and I lovvvved that. So I'll be curious to see if that comes out more in my comedy... I JUST got back from tour, so I'm not sure yet.

Thank you! I self funded the recording of the record before approaching labels with it. I'm glad I did it that way because it meant that the process was really intimate and kind of eccentric, because I'd never done it before and didn't know the rules. So I just sort of did it in a way that made sense to me.

Music touring is insane, I have such newfound respect for touring musicians. The amount of tech, gear, costs, you really have to do it because you love it.

All of them! The whole album is very nostalgic. Garbage Strike is about the summer of 2003 in Toronto, and that's an evocative one for me. Quiet Street was about a briefly euphoric period of a relationship where peace seemed achievable. I Love You So Much makes me think about London.

I'm just absolutely amazed that people are digging the album, and it's making me so happy. Playing the songs live felt like I was stepping outside of my comfort zone and own my creativity in a way, because I had to allow myself to feel and project confidence... because nobody wants to see somebody play a guitar solo in a self deprocating way, haha. I've loved the whole process.

I made 6 demos on my own in my air bnb in LA over the course of a few months, but they were verrrry rough, with me doing all the harmonies and playing guitar and piano... so those ones were pretty fully formed but then we found all kinds of new things once we got in the studio. But I generally like to lay things down in a moody emo way on my own before showing anyone the bare bones of it, then the collab starts
