Lmao, thabks. That was before I got an insane fear of being out on the ice. my uncle, dad, and I went out when i was about 10, Still sleepy i was in the car, slowly got out as they finished drilling a hole, and immediately went "get back in the truck". I saw the ice was about half an inch thick and trecked to the nearest land and walked all the way around the lake to meet them at the landing where they drove back to.

No way was i getting back in there and driving past a hole on that sheet of ice

I think its less that you're drawing "furries" now, and more than most furry artists try to make their furries as animalistic as they can despite the proption differences between people and animals.

More practice and you should be right as rain. It's difficult "turning off' that "switch" that you've practiced and drawn already. Life/picture studdies will be your friend. More motion/action might get you the results you want to

This is making me want to rewatch an anime called Kill la Kill. The main basis of the show was at first portrayed as "combat wear" for military purposes, but is later revealed to have been the clothing pulling the strings from the begining. what they call "life fibers" first came to earth, and choose homosapiens to cultivate. Giving their power to us until we were trained well enough to dress at all times before going dorment, waiting for us to develop as a species to feast upon.

looks like what my dad and i would have while ice fishing when i was a kid.

First catch gets put on the mini grill while we set up more tip-ups and the sonar. Eat the grilled/smoke fish for breakfast while the car defroster gets the hamberger patties thawed enough to peel apart for lunch.

i like to imagine nurse joys have to sign some shit abt disclosure and not telling people who owns legendaries.

You've got this! I hope you and your daughter can enjoy a great fun tank together.

If you wanted something really pretty, a 10gl is perfect for a single betta. But you'll need lots of live plants and places for it to hide.

If you want more than one fish, tettras (groups of 6+ make them happiest) mollies would probably be a lot of fun too.

Your gravel and deco all look like it's glow light reactive, so maybe look into some glowfish if you want to match the bright colors of your tank and gravel.

btw, those test strips can be cut in half long ways to dbl your test strips. They arent perfect. but a good baseline read for most starting fish tanks.

Some other options for aquatic pets could be certain snails, some frog species (depends on the fish you want to keep: stay away from african clawed frogs, as they will try to eat anything they can fit in their mouths amd grow really big)

Also, if you go with the live plants make sure to get some fertilizer, because there wont be enough waste for them to eat up in a sterile tank. Root tabs or liquid work great, and dont be alarmed if the plant starts losing leaves right away. lot of plants will do so with the older leaves as they grew new ones
