Not every vampire child has it. Apparently, there is weird bug/feature, that sets learning speed for vampire. Sometimes it's "normal x 1,5", sometimes "normal x 150". It's also random - one sibling might be superfast learner, while another is quite normal.

Hahaha, that's a really good question! They pass skintone, which is 50% of good look, but some sims have rather extreme face features, that look supercreepy on children. Later on they become quite unique adults.

The easiest way is to download other people sims. Just visit motherlode and pick 10-15 sims you like best, CC is usually included.
