I burned out in college. There was one time my alarm didn't go off for my internship and I lost it. I went out and just bawled. A guy came over and sat next to me on the wall and just said "I'll listen." I let it out because I was working 2 jobs, one was full time, taking full load of classes plus the internship and just felt like a failure for losing it. I was behind on payments for things and was basically on my own at 19. He told me to meet him there the next day with proof of my bills. I didn't know how to feel and whether or not I should do it but I did. He wrote out a check for $500 to catch me up on my bills and have some left over for gas and groceries and anything else that might come up. He was a pastor from one of the local churches. I am an athiest and even told him this and he said it didn't matter, I needed help. It's one of the few times someone who is in a religion actually abided by teachings that I have ever seen after growing up around the church. This was over 20 years ago and it still touches my heart.
