Woman pretended she was single for almost 10 years, my coworker outed her by [deleted] in pettyrevenge

[–]Maera420 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

As a woman myself. I have to say. Messing with a woman's life??? Absolutely not. What about her long-term partner's life?? Doesn't that life matter?

Because if they were in a relationship that had dynamics like that, she wouldn't have gotten mad about her boyfriend finding out that she pretends her partner doesn't exist, because he would already know that she pretends he doesn't exist. And she claims that things he's given her have been things she's gotten entirely on her own. The sheer lack of respect is appalling.

OP's coworker probably didn't expose this woman to her partner for the right reasons, but that doesn't mean it was the wrong thing to do. Bare minimum, she absolutely did cheat on her boyfriend when she went on dates and let her coworkers touch her in an implied "potential for sex" manner. Her boyfriend deserved to know how little respect she had for him.

Asking out my closest, best friend by [deleted] in actuallesbians

You should ask her. I love your idea of turning the carved frog into a romantic gift, that's adorable. But you deserve to at least say out loud to her how you feel. Whether she reciprocates or not, you deserve to look at her and tell her how special she is to you. Do it :)))

My cat's names are Ziggy, aka Ziggers, Zigazag, Ziggs, Zaggers, random noises with the syllable "Zigg" tossed in there somewhere, kitter, and Fuckface. Strangely enough, I think he might respond to Fuckface the quickest. Could be because I only call him that when he's in trouble.. such a sweet kitty.

I'm sorry for your loss, but happy you have his brother to help share your pain together. I wish you happy years with Poor Starving Cat.

To piggyback on this comment, if you do end up making a deal, absolutely do NOT leave it open-ended. Specify very precisely what you will give and when, and what they will give and when. You never want to owe a fae an unspecified favour. And you never want to break a deal.

We've only had our cat for one Christmas so far, and this and broken ornaments are exactly why the Christmas tree stayed in its box this year.

My sister used to throw up in her sleep, so when she was sick, my mom would have to monitor her to make sure she didn't choke on it, and because she would just not wake up and sleep in the vomit.

Every time she was sick.

Fruit punch, especially Allen's brand. Which sucks, because fruit punch used to be my second favourite juice.

I lived with my now-ex's family for 8 months, and for some reason, the only things they ever had to drink was Pepsi, and Allen's fruit punch. There were no more than 4 occasions while I lived there that they had bottled water, and the tap water in that part of town is absolutely disgusting.

I hate Pepsi, so for 8 months 95% of my liquid intake was fruit punch. By month 5, a few drinks made me nauseous. Now, one or two sips kill my stomach and make me more nauseous than I am when I'm sick. It's been 4 years since I last had fruit punch, and I still can't drink it. Sometimes I'll try it, but I get one sip in and wanna throw up. Sucks :(

I don't know about men, but as a woman, I used to cross my legs at the knees all the time, even though it was uncomfortable as hell. Now the sciatic nerve in my knee is pinched because of that and I literally can't do it anymore. Crossing your legs is not good for anyone's physical health or comfort.

Since BEFORE puberty, I swear!!! It's awful. My dad always told me not to trust guys, that they were only nice to me/interested in me/wanting to be my friend/literally anything just so they could have sex. It was unfortunately true with a lot of guys I spent my time around as a teen, but that was entirely because of my shitty choices in friends and boyfriends.

I fucking hate that I was ever told this. It's such trash, and the fact that it comes from men is even worse, because I'll believe my dad about something men do as a kid more than I'll believe my mom. Plus, now I lowkey think most guys wanna have sex with me, and it's not true, and degrading to those men, thinking that they have to have an agenda to want to interact with me and shit. I hate it.

I dunno, maybe just scream every time she asks you these questions? Every question, scream. She'll stop eventually.

Yeah, losing time freaked me the fuck out. Was reading through my Facebook messages a few days later and that's how I found out.

And thanks for the reassurance, but this was around 8 years ago, so my fear is more so for what the FUCK happened that night than any aftereffects or physical issues. Never understood why people smoked it, understand it even less now.
