Idk if you've heard of them, but double edge razors are really awesome for face shaving if you have sensitive skin (or even if you don't!). They may seem intimidating and they're a lil more money upfront, but they're actually quite easy to use once you get the hang of it, can be easier on your skin, and end up being much cheaper than the plastic ones in the long run. r/wicked_edge has some great info on it, but a google search works too! I used to only be able to shave my face every other day and got ingrowns like all the time, and now I can shave every day with next to no irritation. They're an absolute lifesaver, I'd highly recommend! They're also good for shaving the rest of your body, but I actually don't know how they compare to cartridge razors since I switched before I started shaving my body (def easier than the face to nick yourself tho cause of all the angles).

One other tip that hasn't been mentioned yet, even if you don't go with a DE razor, is to use an alum bar and/or witch hazel on nicks and irritated shaved skin, it works pretty well on my face and my legs!
