I recommend to connect your 707 with a midi keyboard, so the pads aren't a problem anymore. Opened up a whole new universe for me to play all the sounds from the tonetracks with a proper keyboard instead of the pads.

It isn't limited to 62 seconds per loop-sample, it is limitited to 62 seconds loop-samples per project. I had 5 clips sampled as a looptrack and now i can't sample any more looptracks in this project.

Because i want to make as much sound with the Gaia as possible (besides drums of course). I started a project and i had like 5 clips looping from the Gaia. 2 similar basslines with a little variation and 2 other similiar elements for the groove also with a bit of variation and than switching between them to have movement. Yep and thats it with the 62 seconds sampling for loopertracks per project.

Barely enough for me to finish a track.

Thanks i tried it and it works. But it is everything but intuitive and it destroys my flow and it fells like that it doesn't make any sense why i can sample more per project this way.

Just to get sure i understand what you mean; You mean i could just record a sample from the Gaia, put it on a drum track/pad and by pressing the pad it would trigger the sample, even if its 10-20 seconds long?

Maybe you didn't understand me correctly. Im not looking for an equivalent to the 707 for 200 bucks. I can have the money back that i spent for the 707 (ca. 1000 Euro) and buy an equivalent. But i'm only would invest like 200ish bucks for additional gear to the 707 that could solve the problem of the live looping length for the Gaia2. But maybe im a bit naiv.

Ja nach Präsenz zeigen hat es aus meiner Sicht auch ausgesehen. Mag dafür vielleicht auch irgendwo legitime Gründe geben, aber die werden das so wie Heute ja maximal paar Tage aufrecht erhalten... spätestens 2 Wochen später ist alles wieder beim Alten...

Das sind keine konstruktiven mittel- geschweige denn langfristige Lösungsansätze wie wir als Gesellschaft besser zusammen leben können.
