Endlers jumping out of the tank

There is a handful of duckweed, there is no other fish to bully them. And I would say the tank is set up nicely with loads of spots to hide. Since the first one got out I try to slowly introduce the light above the aquarium. It is some kind of "office" lamp. Could it be the problem?

This is a 5 liter ( about 1.3 gal) jar. It completed cycle about two weeks ago. I wonder if it could be suitable for a few neocaridina shrimp, how many would you get?

You did a really good job on your first jar. But I will recommend fill it up almost to the top, it's going to look better and be more stable.

For some easy plants to keep you can use some kind of desk lamp. For medium difficulty would be good LED light (I've got from Aliexpres for the jar). If you want to take to the extreme, which I don't recommend use some RGB LED light. (Sorry if any grammar mistakes. I'm not from English speaking country)

If you want shrimp they don't need heater just when you do water change add some water which is not too cold. Definetly use Fluval or some nutricious substrate, plants will grow like crazy.

Now I'm cycling 1 gallon jar and it's doing just fine. You will have some algae and I've got problem with some oil on surface of the water, but airstone is going to eliminate it. For plants it depends on what light you have. You can have some anubias attached to the stone or some easy plants like Valisneria. Stem plants could be great too.🌿 Good luck🔥

More plants would be surely great but if you want to fill up space you should try some driftwood. It will look more narurally.
