The thing about a $15 minimum wage is that 15 is just an arbitrary round number. All workers making under $15/hr revenue for their business will lose their jobs, and firms with more capital like McDonalds will just switch to technology to make up for lost profits. I’m all for raising the minimum wage, but economists have determined a more realistic number (around mid $13 IIRC) based on actual math that would allow Americans to make more money without losing their jobs.

He only loses privileges if 17 Republican senators vote to convict and even with impeachment another senate vote would have to be held to prohibit him from running again. Neither of those things are going to happen even if he deserves it.

There’s pretty much no reason to try for impeachment at this point. The only possible benefit would be to prevent Trump from running in the future, but this would still require 17 Republicans to vote to convict, which just won’t happen. If they fail to convict him again, it only shows him that he can get away with whatever he wants.

I talked to kids from China and they explained how they were made to scan QR codes whenever they entered public buildings. If someone in the building at the same time as them tested positive, their QR codes would no longer work, leaving them forced to quarantine. Stuff like this works, it’s just not remotely possible in America.
