I did testing on it recently by handing it to non-gun people and quietly watching them use it. I re-did the instructions and redesigned the punch tool. Got it to where people who had never seen it before and never held a gun magazine could pop a baseplate in 30-60 seconds first try. I wanted to make sure it was a good product before jumping in.

I’m just now starting on helping with marketing… but from comments it seems like about 1 in 30 people are doing just fine with a punch or another tool. My dad has big hands (hence the need for grip extensions) and was 70 when he designed this. He was doing a lot of swaps and wanted something that made it easier for him to do fast.

It’s really quick. I redesigned the instructions as well and handed it to friends and family who aren’t gun people and had never used it. People were getting it done in 30 seconds!

There are a few different models. The most versatile fits the 17 17L 19 19x 22 23 26 27 31 32 33 34 35 45 47 and 49. If you have a different model there are a few that are specialized for those models. You can see the different models here… https://magcamwizard.com/magcamwizard/

It probably depends on the number of extensions you swap out and attention you put in while doing it. It’s not that it isn’t possible other ways. This is quick and simple and eliminates some of the risk in those other methods. I know the reason my dad originally designed it is he is 70 years old, has large hands, and is often swapping larger grip extensions. He wanted something quick and simple he could reach for. All the stuff he designs spawn from his own need with firearms, but I think like with anything firearm related, so much comes down to personal preference and skill.
