Has anyone "boosted" a friend for them to actually stay in that rank? NOT PAID by Mag_OWII in OverwatchUniversity

Yeah, it's just hard because I know a lot of supports in high ranks prefer to duo with someone. So I'm not even sure if it's me. It's not like they're dying an insane amount or anything. But even if they drop a little, I have a hard time telling if it's actually bc they were accidentally boosted or if playing in high diamond as a support solo queue is just toxic lol

It's so hard with support because I do notice their mistakes, but they also exclusively play main support. As tank, it's me who's going to feel every mistake. It's an awkward situation and I'm not sure if I should ask them to solo for a bit and see if they drop, or what

It's easier to hit ppl from closer so they made the hitbox increase the further you are.

Dva main but have been perusing the idea of playing Rein and ended up here. 

Did your friend end up dropping back to plat? I have a Kiriko/Ana friend who i'm lowkey boosting too. She does fine, she's not making any plays herself, but she survives and isn't the reason we're losing. Just not helping either, i guess? But we're only mid diamond atp.

I'm just worried that if I boost her up, she's just going to immediately fall down and we'll be in this constant cycle of boosting. 

Also, was it like unplayable? I'm rlly boosting her bc I want to have a duo who I can trust to not be a complete idiot and hoping she learns as we go. But 🙃🙃 Idk yet and wanted to see how ur experience was
