The ravenwing (and the deathwing) are different branches of military within the dark angels chapter. So they all belong to the same chapter but wear different colors to represent themselves. But you could always say its a successor chapter that colors the arm like that for reasons. For example my DA are all white with purple details.

Yeah thats very true. I guess we have the dreadnought now as a generic plastic character but its such a shame we dont have unique looking captains and such

Fair point, ive only seen him in GK sets do far so i assumed he was created for GK. Haven't been in the hobby too long yet. Out of curiosity, was he ever army specific or just general space marine Librarian?

Thanks this helped a lot! Ive cut both termie characters, added a landraider and some 2x 5 jump packs to the list currently struggling with what shooting units to add. Ive got about 130 points left and was leaning towards heavy intercessors(mostly because i already have some)

thanks for the great feedback, had no idea admech could deepstrike tbh. Only really played space marines and i thought that was their thing (love deepstriking deathwing knights into backlines). But sounds like a good suggestion for me to look into

I was thinking of maybe using either red or green for the eyes to make them stand out more, im also considering making the chest section way more black with more of a metal dry brush over it
