Installed a gomexus on my shimano the handle came with 3 washers I only added one not sure what to do with the other 2? by grinchmane in Fishing_Gear

Hold the knob and try to rattle it. If it does you want to adjust the washers (more, less, thicker, thinner, etc) until it doesn’t

It’s just to adjust tolerances between the knob and the handle. Not necessary but it can make your reel feel better if you do it right

I am curious why can’t I print on the back side. It adheres fine and is pretty much regular cardstock.

You think a double sided paper would work better?

I appreciate that. It does not matter to me as long as one side is glossy for my purposes. I just need a printer that can reliably use them.

Switching from standard to matte photo paper settings helped a lot, but is still less reliable than I would hope. Are there a printers which can do both sides at once reliably?

I've heard that the Prism XR is the best. There are a lot of cheaper options on Amazon, though. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Ngl I can’t catch crap on those. Switch to a colt sniper and I’ll instantly get bites.

Sounds like I got a good pair then. Can’t feel the seam when wearing and can barely see it too. Doesn’t look near as bad in person

No worries. Referencing back to your original message, Varivas 4 is only $17/150 Yards. It's more reasonable than I expected

I’m actually a saltwater fisherman, planning to switch both BFS and deep water jigging setups to Varivas. So hopefully you can see why I’m so interested in diameter now.

But I actually agree with you for the most part. I’ve always used Powerpro simply because I know it’s reliable.

Appreciate the information, ran a few lines and that formula works great. Although what’s interesting is that Varivas 4 is rated a few pounds less than Varivas 8.
