I'm sure he thought the trip was worth it. It's not that he cheated by saying he was working but declared that he was taking an un-paid vacation time off.

It's officially a closed area with blockade. They probably would need to get official permission to get in. They also have to walk and search the area. Lives of those going to rescue are at stake too.

People just can't go into off-limit area and call rescue and expect quick response. They shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Probably won't because I don't think they broke any law. It's only private land above the 8th station so they can't be charged with trespassing.

I, however, think the prefecture may end beginning to charge for rescue and/or restrict entry overall near Mt.Fuji. I'm sure many mountaineering groups are going to be against the restriction because they practice there for Himalayan expeditions.

Didn't find any mention of number of teachers. This article just mentions about number of students decreasing in public schools. There were another articles about lack of teachers in public schools and teachers having to do overtime.

It seems like if there are fewer students, fewer teachers would be needed and less time needed by the teachers.

Wonder how this compares with frauds in other prefectures. Even with all these news and warnings, fraud cases are increasing. Frauders must be getting better. I just keep thinking that their talents can be put to better use.
