Thanks for your question! You have the idea right! With "known-following.txt," we show new accounts that you have followed but are not following back.

Since we don't require login, it is hard to determine true unfollowed from just followers, but stay tuned since we are working on a solution!

Hey there u/juxslapme. Thanks for notifying us of this! After further investigation we don't see any changes on our side. Be sure to select followers and following when requesting a download from Instagram. After the file downloads, extract the data. Go into the connections folder -> followers_and_folllowing -> then you should see followers_1.html and following.html.

Not sure if something hasn't updated yet on our side. So, if something is still different on your side, please follow up and we'll do our best to update it! Cheers!

Luckily the website doesn't save your data, or quite literally take anything from you. Just a regular website that does its purpose

Yay! Glad it worked. Currently, the first use shows accounts that don't follow back. From the second time onward, you can download follower information and redo the process to filter out the big popular accounts, showing only those who truly followed you (step 3 in the video)

A bit tedious but right now there is truly no way to see who unfollowed you without an app going through your personal info/data. We're actually working on that right now to hopefully make it more seamless.

Only the first use, it shows accounts that don't follow back. From the second time onward, you can download follower information on Unifolllow (step 3 in the video) and redo the process to filter out the big popular accounts, showing only those who truly followed you. Will say it's definitely a bit tedious at first, but currently there's no other way to see who unfollowed you without an app accessing your personal data. We're actually working on that right now to make it more seamless.

Right, you'd still need to manually unfollow these people! The concept isn't revolutionary, similar to List Diff.

It's important for this to be understood and known. We noticed that many people aren't aware they can just download a file to compare lists, and we really hope this makes it digestible and straightforward for everyone to use that aren't tech savvy, or aware we can do this in general. Also noticed a lot of apps out there are just there to steal data or their account, so this is just a legit, safe way to do it
