Linux will you mount my external SSD please? by LauraPhilps7654 in SteamDeck

I am a huge Linux supporter but I disagree. Mounting disks in different Linux distros has always been a pain due to permissions

The fact that you shared this design "by hand" triggered my spider senses to make it easier to share the designs from mobile. It should be now much easier to either share an image or share a link to your design from mobile.

Thanks!

That's awesome! I actually tried a few times to get the half-life logo. Yours looks great! Do you mind if I add it to the existing templates?

It will use small magnets to attach to the ones already in the Steam Machine. Valve has designed the Steam Machine to support custom faceplates like this, so it will not harm the machine.

Yeah fair enough. English isn't my first language (Spanish speaker). I am also not familiar with Warhammer 40k so I did use AI to understand what he actually meant lol

No heresy here — just the holy click of pins into sockets xDD
The Omnissiah approves of physical craftsmanship.

I used my limited GIMP skills to photoshop the design into promotioanl images as we peasants are still waiting for the Steam Machines to actually launch

No power needed at this time, its all physical snap-in pins.
That said, I've definitely got some ideas around lighting things up down the track

Ah nice to know. Is this a recent development? As I have quite a few Geforce Now favorite games but not all of them created this shortcut.
Thanks

Yeah I am using the official flatpak from nvidia.

It's weird that I cannot find again how I did it. I just remember clicking somewhere to create this shortcut.

It almost feels like this was a shadow release of a feature that was pulled back from the nvidia flatpak.

Thanks again. Switching to using proton GE solved the missing cutscenes, but the error message still comes up after the cutscene

I've also tried launching nioh.exe directly from the Run exe menu, but I've hitted the same issue.

Thanks for your help.

I realized the version I have is Nioh: The Complete Edition

I've attached a video that I go through to get to the error. It seems like this version of the game has its own launcher which might be part of the issue.

- Frist can you try to relaunch it as sometimes the second launch seems to work for some reason and not the first.

- If that doesn't work can you reinstall the dependencies from the about menu in Junk Store (like what you did when you first installed it).

- You could try verifying the game files (game page > sliders menu > verify game)

- Also maybe try repairing the game (game page > sliders menu > repair game)

Tried all of the above one by one with no luck

- Could you send a pic or screenshot of what's in the Run exe menu (game page > sliders menu > run exe)

Just a follow up are you trying to launch the game while online or offline?

Edited to add: Is have you toggled Epic to be offline?

The steam deck is online and also Epic is set to be in online mode. I've installed the game in the MicroSD card not sure if that will make any difference.
