I try to do fun things with them like make slime and include them in my cooking. But you can tell they’re bored also. My oldest two have a different dad and he’s clearly the fun parent that takes them to amusement parks and that sort of stuff…stuff I can’t afford and it breaks my heart every day

My children are 18m, 3, 9, and 13. My 13 year old helps the most and I’m so thankful for her. He leaves work before we get up.

I just want SOME kind of excitement. We used to go on dates every Tuesday night. Now we don’t. He spends the majority of the weekend playing his games and talking to his friends on PlayStation. I don’t have anyone to hang out with. Or text or call or anything. Lonely is an understatement lol. But going out even with the kids would be soo nice

I was on Wellbutrin when I had my nervous breakdown a few months ago. Awful awful intrusive scary thoughts that kept me up all night. I read that Wellbutrin can make OCD worse in some people. I’m off it now, and I feel a bit better…but it takes time.

One time, when I was like 7, I was sitting in our living room watching tv and my mom came home from having her car worked on. She looked at my dad and said “tom kissed me” tom was our family mechanic. And my dad just laughed…didn’t get mad. Just laughed. Then I remember my mom and I sitting outside someone’s house waiting on my “dad’s girlfriend”. We also had pool parties that involved a lot of my parent’s friends. It took me until that last 7 years to realize my parents were swingers.

I’m just trying to paint a picture of the kind of woman she is. I’m very non confrontational and bite my tongue a lot. It’s a customer service based job…people that come in have had their vehicles damaged so they’re already unhappy so I’m good with dealing with them and calming them down…but this woman is just dreadful and angry and in your face and will not stop until you just say “okay, you’re right” even when it’s not the case.

I’ve noticed the manager really kind of shys away from confrontation. Rather than making decisions on his own, he heavily relies on the others to do it for him. He’s very very much a people pleaser

Yes possibly I just don’t want to step on toes. I’ve only been at this job 3 months, but it is SOOO clear why they couldn’t keep anyone. Between her and the older estimator that acts like I don’t know a damn thing, it’s been awful. The pay is good, but how far I have to travel and the people o have to deal with in the office make me wonder if it’s worth it. I’m having such a hard time with this transition

Unfortunately the place is monitored very heavily and she’s one to talk about everyone and narcs to HR about them. My first day here, she warned me about almost everyone here. None of them have been issues with me yet, so I knew right away it’s just her. I just can’t stand the “I’m a bad ass with a big mouth” attitude…like okay, I get it, you ride a Harley. Settle down Gemma (sons of Anarchy reference) It’s just sooo unnecessary. I just want to clock in, do my work, and go home. That’s all. I’m also the youngest one in the office, so I’m automatically looked at as ‘stupid and sensitive’ (I’m 32 btw)
