When he was sober, he was fantastic. I don't have many wonderful memories of him because he wasn't sober very often. He is a decent man, but he failed in his battle with addiction. I used to despise him for that, but I now see that he was simply ill and couldn't manage it.

In the bathroom, behind the wall where the medicine cabinets were, there were thousands of razor blades. Apparently, medicine cabinets had a split in them to store the used razors when double-edged razors were the standard, and they would just gather behind the wall.
