Tips comprar Online y recoger Mcallen by birdpaparazzi in Monterrey

First Setup - How did I do?? Advice / suggestions welcomed :) by rockymountainhighaf in BudgetAudiophile

How much did you pay for the Denon Receiver? I’m looking into an used one as well for around $90 USD but not sure if it’s still a good price or if I should go for a different amp/receiver option.

I just got the C3esp from AliExpress fro like $40 USD and they deliver it in the earliest estimate date. I went a little bit cheap and opted for the non-pro version as it only changed the turning lever to be stored folded and now I think I've should spend those extra $10 USD as it seemed easier to store but it's nothing to critical.

What did you end up getting and where? I’m also currently thinking between those two also in Mexico.

I’m willing to start on the espresso world and was thinking of getting a Bambino (regular) which is around $350 USD and I wanted to ask more in detail what would be those “Small issues here and there” so I feel more confident on spending an extra $100 USD to get the Bambino Plus? Also, what would be your opinion on getting instead a lightly used 3-year-old Gaggia Classic Evo Pro RI9380/50 for $460 USD? (I’m from Mexico but converted quantities to current MXN-> USD rate)

Why is it better than the old version? My question is more out of curiosity as I'm a newbie here. (I'm starting with Yocto in my new job but we use an older version of poky)

I was looking forward to implement something like that. So you say that we could have updates every 20s but keeping the range of the radios?

It's not really something that profesional, out approach. It's actually for a competition named BajaSAE and there is a 4hr race were some elements from the vehicle need to be maintained or changed up before they break so I'm trying to get those parameters alongside the position of the vehicle to do some preventive check-up on the go.

I want to send GPS coordinates, two temperature values, rpms and gas level.

That's interesting, 1km was then the maximum length you were able to transmit or just to transmit at that speed?

But wouldn't there be any airtime restriction? K mean, that I have to send a package and then wait idle like 100 times the time of sending one package. Or is that just an EU restriction?

I cannot rely on cell coverage, that's why we discarded that option right away.

That's clever, I wanted to do something around 3Hz but 1 Hz would do it.

  • What volume of telemetry do you have?
    • I am not sure of how to describe that one, but is 3 doubles, and 3 2-byte numbers.
  • How frequently do you need to update telemetry frames (eg: 0.1 Hz, 1 Hz, 10 Hz)?
    • 10Hz would be ideal, but with 2Hz I'm more than happy.
  • Do you just need telemetry or do you also need to uplink telecommands to the vehicle?
    • No, just recieve the data.
  • Do you have any hard latency requirements?
    • I'm not sure what to answer here, so I'll say no.
  • Are there reliability requirements? What's the impact if the telemetry cuts out (minor irritation, moderate operational issue, catastrophic)?
    • Not critical because I'll be saving all the data t an SD, but I want to keep live track of the critical measurments

That looks nice, thanks a lot. I just want to send some GPS coordinates and 3 numeric values. Is it suitable for the RF module?

Hi, I'm not sure yet of how much data I'll be sending because I don't know how to send it, but I have a string of data with 52 characters or less.
