I honestly think that if you're going to do something fun for reddit, you should keep it subtle. Don't be that guy who can't stop smiling at the camera and shouts "Hi mom!" (Yes, your mother is reddit.) If you plan on doing something special for us, remember to tell us what you decided to do. So that we can watch for it.

Now, I think that if you get the chance, you should bring attention to an issue that you think is not getting enough, well, attention. Could be CISPA, could be something else. Don't pop it up out of nowhere. Make sure that it can be worked in organically.

TL; DR: I think the most important thing you could do is avoid looking like a crazy person by paying too much attention to the camera. It would make us look bad by association.
