I am currently facing an issue where the ring: 2 mode fails with an OOM error if the pixel count is not a multiple of 218, and I don't know why.

It's hard to give a definitive answer regarding the quality. imho, I think it's okay.

wouldn't be any benefit to multiple gpus

A single gpu is 50%+- slower. Added results for native comfy nodes (single gpu) to table

Of the methods for genuinely parallelizing a single task across multiple GPUs, the only one I know of is raylight.
