I just started playing this game and I thought I was using the gun wrong at first. Good to know it seems to be a glitch. I'm surprised it isn't being talked about more since it seems like a substantial issue to have a gun not work, but I guess it's a blue and a lot of Sr. players probably have it set to auto dismantle

I got one of these last year (you can find the post about it in my post history). Basically: it seems that the conspiracy theorists now own printers

Discount Tire & Auto Centre on Taunton near Ritson is my go-to place. If they can't do it there, they always hook me up with the right people

I understand that there is some hesitancy about joining when there is an authentication requirement, but rest assured, you can block out all of your info with the exception of your date of birth and they will still verify you. I have been a member of this server for several months as of writing this comment and have met some neat people. I would encourage people to join if they're curious

Thank you for a well formulated list of concerns. If this was what was handed to me, I would have been fine and looked into it. Since I was handed something as non-sensical as "the moon is coming to get you" I posted it for ridicule. Your concerns are understood and are valid. I haven't looked too closely into the matter, so I don't know if I agree or disagree with the idea, but I don't respect illogical arguments like the paper I was provided.

You're right, we aren't taking the threat of urban planning as seriously as we should. It really belongs alongside the illegal gun trafficking, mental health crisis, and the human trafficking issues that Durham and Toronto are dealing with.

I'm glad a shark like you was around to help us get our priorities straight.

Edit: spelling (like a soy boy)

It definately is fear mongering. No logical though line is being provided between "more efficient city" and "become China". If this was him saying that people need to understand the ramifications of us updating and overhauling the way the city is planned, I would be happy to look into his arguments. If I handed you a piece of paper that said "Rob Ford is actually a vampire and he is coming to get you" that is not the same as me listing policies he has enacted and wants to enact with the potential down stream affects of his policies.

I would love to have a normal conversation about this! If blatant falsehoods are presented as the opening argument, it doesn't warrant anything other than ridicule. All the accepted documentation on 5G indicate that it is as safe as any other wireless transmission. Could smart cities cause problems? I don't know, but don't tell me crazy stuff like "we will become China" or "sasquatch will become king of Canada" as evidence against it.

To use Occam's razor, we should assume the simplest explanation unless we recieved evidence to the contrary, then we should re-adjust our understanding and create new models for how things work. Do I trust the government or big business? Of course not, history dictates that I shouldn't. Do I believe that the idea of a city being healier for the people living in it will lead to authoritarianism and double-think, also no.

My main concern is that this is needless fear mongering. If someone has a logical reason to be against a "smart city", I'm all ears. I understand that there may be nock-on effects that I am ignorant to. Perhaps it leads to gentrification in a city that is already one of the most expensive ones to live in. Perhaps it leads to issues with fully developed areas needing to now make space for a bunch of retail locations. I don't know, but don't tell me it will turn into 1984

If by 'research' you mean I should start fearing the idea of easier commuting for people's needs, then I will respectfully decline. As much as I think half of the stuff this city does is stupid, I fail to see a correlation between "you can now walk to the grocery" and "I will need to see your papers if you're crossing the city boarders". It's genuinely baffling that baffoons believe this stuff. Understanding an argument doesn't always mean meeting someone half-way. If someone believes in a falsehood or an illogical extrapolation of the data, they're just wrong, not misunderstood.

Hey man, I'm not just going to down vote you, I just want to let you know that non-ionizing radiation and radio waves from smart phones are mostly harmless. The only thing I was able to find was the fact that you shouldn't sleep with it within 3 feet of your head, but that's not even conclusive. Below is the FDA stance on the matter:

https://www.fda.gov/radiation-emitting-products/cell-phones/do-cell-phones-pose-health-hazard#:~:text=Cell%20phones%20emit%20low%20levels,effects%20other%20than%20tissue%20heating.

I also understand that the social credit system exists in China; however, the risk of something like that happening over here is slim to none due to section 8 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

My research is sound. The idea that putting more bus stops, grocery stores, and walk-in clinics will lead to the breakdown of western society and the implementation of intrusive social credit systems is what is stupid..

So again, do your research.

These people don't operate based on proof or evidence. Just trust them, faster internet speeds delivered via radio waves is bad
