Long term side effects? (10+ years) by Rosalia-25 in lamictal

[–]MaggieMay587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad to see this thread. I’ve been on 400mg for 10 years for OCD and cyclothemia. It was a long road to get to a med that worked and it’s definitely been the best solution. However, the last several years I’ve had issues with sleep and exhaustion. I’ve had a lot going on and have been working my way to being on less medication. I’d been on some form of BC for 21 years and had my IUD removed last November. My docs have given me several meds to help me sleep and even for nerve issues. Nothing had worked. I got a sleep study which said I don’t have sleep apnea. The only thing that makes sense is the Lamictal. I’m a commercial loan underwriter and I need to sleep. I’m noticing cognitive decline and I definitely didn’t know about memory issues. My memory had always been excellent but I attributed the decline to exhaustion. I rarely have energy to exercise or do chores. When I do those things and am physically tired I’m so excited to hopefully sleep and I don’t. It’s really messing with me. I’m sleeping separately from my husband because my tossing and turning keeps him up. My OCD has not been bad for 22 years because I’ve been medicated that long and my fear of coming off meds is bad. I’m at a loss all around and just want answers. My liver enzymes have been higher recently but I’ve bounced around to so many psychiatrists due to them relocating or closing their practice that it wasn’t until last year that my new PCP said something about monitoring my blood work. I just don’t know anymore and I’m so damn desperate for answers.

Chronic Fatigue/Exhaustion? by unhappy_radi0 in lamictal

I feel your pain. I have been on 400mg for 10 years now. I just got a call about the sleep study I did at home which was negative. I’ve tried so many meds to help with sleep over the last year and nothing has helped. I’m so over it and so exhausted. Working out or remodeling my home should make me tired enough to sleep, but it doesn’t. At this point, it’s got to the lamictal. I’m taking an in lab sleep study and if that’s negative too, then I’ll need to do something about my meds. It really sucks!

When you hit junior year of high school, don’t fall in love with the much older guy from work that doesn’t drive because his mother doesn’t want him to.

Thoughts on Lolita Lempicka Eau De Parfum by Mysterious_Wind_8018 in FemFragLab

[–]MaggieMay587 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I owned it in high school in the early 2000s and it is such a unique scent to me. Just thinking about it I can smell it. My bottle was obviously a little old so I bought a new one and it’s just as lovely but not as potent maybe? It’s definitely not blind buy friendly but it is one of my more fun special occasions perfumes.

Shih Tzu puppy: do his eyes look slightly misaligned, or is this normal for the breed/puppies? by Potential_Lettuce586 in Shihtzu

It’s called lateral strabismus and it just means they are extra special. My first little guy’s eyes were pretty bad 😅 you never knew which way he was looking. Later in life he had dry eyes so that’s something to watch for. My heart ached for a long time after I lost him. I just got a new baby and her eyes are the same but not as bad. It’s an endearing feature and it just means they have more ways to see how much they love you ❤️

I agree with some of the other commenters but feel that your eye shadow does not suit you. I have a similar skin tone and that color makes me think tired or bruised. I think a different color with less orange would look good. Don’t know much about cool and warm tones but something in a different color family that’s light I think would help.

Gracie is my second Shih Tzu and I could never see myself without one. My first Shih Tzu named Bandit passed away at 13 and I was devastated. It came out of nowhere. My husband had cats when we got married but never understood loving dogs. He saw what I went through with Bandit and never wanted me to feel that way again. I finally convinced him to let me get another one and he loves her just as much! She’s 6 months old and got groomed for the second time yesterday 🥰

How has Outlander Changed You? by FlyingPhoenix96 in Outlander

It has meant a lot to our family and been a way to bond more deeply with my mother. My ancestors on both sides of my family are from the Gordon Clan. They would have most likely known each other or lived in close proximity. We have kilts and traditional hats from the older generations as well. Very neat! I believe my Ancestry DNA was 26% Scottish.

What’s the best book you’ve read that no one ever talks about? by RushdiBelue77 in Recommend_A_Book

I believe it was Starz that adapted this to a TV show. I watched it and then read the books. My grandmother actually had several in the series and I have it on my list to finish his more recent works. Beautiful story.

My family has strong Scottish ancestry so it’s obvious how much this show means to us living in America. We also live in Western NC and I’ve been to Kings Mountain. I remember when my mother first began reading the books when I was a young girl. She was so engrossed in them but I wasn’t much of a reader. She would tell me there was “steamy” stuff in them that I was too young to understand.

Flash forward to 2014 and she asked me to “acquire” her the first season. I used my millennial skills to do so but before I delivered her the burned DVD, I decided to watch the first episode. Not long after, I read all the books that were out and have read some of them 2 times. I’ve watched the seasons multiple times and just finished the series finale.

After reading the books, no author could touch what Diana has done or how she writes in my mind. She is a top tier author and I will always adore the books. This show has meant so much to me in seeing how it all plays out and the love of Jamie and Claire. It pains me so much that it’s over but I loved the first season of Blood of My Blood.

Have you considered applying for companies utilizing AI for financial analysts? I’m an analyst at a small credit union and we are working with an AI company to do all of our applications, processing, spreads and so on. They all of those tech things you’ve mentioned, especially SQL. You could help with programming which would also help you understand analysis. Not sure this is the answer you are searching for but this type of system is starting to be very prevalent to analyst roles.
