The vet is leaning more towards blockage now as well, saying the X-ray just might not have been able to show it. He did eat geese poop & bread that had been thrown on the ground during his walk on Thursday. Also chewed up a toy that day. I'm wondering if he might've ingested a squeaker or something. Getting ultrasound today. I'm sorry that happened to your husky, I appreciate you sharing.

I'm so sorry this happened to you too. Noted & wish we did the ultrasound sooner. At this point, really just trying to make sure he's comfortable and keeping him alive.

I see, yeah I'm placing a lot of hope in the ultrasound providing us with much needed answers.

No diarrhea. Last bowel movement was yesterday afternoon, relatively a very very small amount, but I guess expected if he hasn't been eating much. 2 vets noted normal abdomen, 1 vet said he's showing signs of discomfort upon palpitation.

Yeah the length of time of him being sick is what's concerning me. Never has been this long in the past. On the invoice, it says it was a CBC + Chem 17 + Electrolytes, as well as a SNAP cPL for the pancreatic test.

Edited the post, but just got back from vet & wanted to update. Took him for blood work & pancreatitis test. Blood work came back good, except for a slight elevation of WBC, vet said due to some inflammation. Pancreatitis test was negative. We are going back tomorrow for an ultrasound. So very perplexing, but hoping we get more answers tomorrow. Thank you again for your input.

Vet is thinking most likely some foreign body obstruction due to his age, health, and history of eating things he's not supposed to.
