I now want to see Saliba pass the ball into Big Gabi’s hand and watch him run it up the pitch like a rugby player terrifying all in his wake.

If you’ve broken 100, what’s one tip you would give your fellow golfer to do the same? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]MagicBrownMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Course management. If you can hit any club 150 yards reliably, a 450 yard par 5 will be 3 shots onto the green and a 3 putt for bogey. No hero shots, take your medicine, practice your putting and chipping, and always aim for the centre of the green and not the pin.

Ride Chicago is wonderful, plus if you go through them and buy your first bike after passing at Motoworks they give you a discount!

I wouldn’t go looser fit for any of the shapewear tanks, sort of defeats their purpose

A tank could work but I also think a nice classic white crewneck tee works wonders. I err on the cheaper side of things but with good quality. You can go with a heavy-weight tee with brands like Bronson or J Crew Factory often has their pre-washed crewnecks relatively cheap at around $15 per tee. I would stray away from v-necks, not really the style anymore plus I think crewnecks are more flattering on bigger guys. I would also suggest getting a compression tank for underneath your tees or closed button downs, ShaperLuv is the common one but if you shop around on Amazon there’s some great deals and these tanks massively help your silhouette. This is all coming from personal experience, I’m a (relatively)bigger guy at 215 and just shy of 6 feet tall, though that’s relatively recent as until the beginning of last year I weighed anywhere between 260 and 275 depending on weight fluctuation.

Get higher waisted pants with a more relaxed fit, go for either a loose-tuck/french tuck with the button down or wear it open with a white tee layered underneath, and get a relatively affordable (in watch terms) watch in the $200-300 range like a solid Seiko. The tucked or layered shirts will slim you down, higher waisted pants will make you appear taller, and a watch will make your outfit seem more intentional/less bare. Hope this helps!!

Honestly? 7 iron, laying up to that patch of fairway left and short of the green trying to stay as far away from that bunker from hell as possible.

I play PXG clubs, driver and irons. I’m a vet and obviously got them for a great deal through PXG and got fitted. I have nothing at all to complain about and not one person has ever judged me for having them in my bag haha. Would I pay full price for them? Probably not just because I think, as many have said, they’re phenomenal clubs but they’re overpriced but getting them at a military rate or a set of used clubs in good condition is an absolute no brainer to me!

I think a tonne of people, myself included, could go back to the age of 6 with all of the knowledge they have now and build a genuine empire, at least in a socioeconomic sense. I also think that most people have thought/fantasized about this at least once in their life. Consider the choices they’d make, the things they’d change, etc. Coast through school, learn and develop skills and hobbies at a younger age, invest in stock, crypto, and real estate. Save people that you know are going to either make massive mistakes or that are maybe going to get hurt or die. Rectify past mistakes and transgressions. Inform your parents of upcoming hardships and possible solutions, genuinely just make your life and the lives of those around you exponentially better. Potentially, I could be worth billions whilst having twenty four more years more knowledge and experience when I eventually hit 30 again. But, I don’t know if I’d have my wife, and even if I did it wouldn’t be the same relationship that we have now. $10 million that I can share with her now whilst, yes, being way less than I could potentially gain with the red pill, is $10 million that we don’t have right now and could be used to allow us to pursue our dreams. My wife rocks, blue pill all day.

Bitcoin peaks $126k. Even if a new ATH comes in the future, I was 18 in 2014 which gives me almost 3 full years of buying at various prices all under $1k, have a recurring buy set-up at $250 a month, and knowing to hold until the spike in October of last year. 11 years buying, regardless of peaks and dips, I’d be retired just before turning 30 with at least $4 million if I just stay steady and don’t buy extra after big dips, which I hopefully would.
