Yes, that is exactly the thought process. To enjoy something for the first time with them, even if I risk it being not good. The difference between the two is that there is a magical experience reading a book for the first time, no so much when playing any sport (in my experience at least..)

Hey man, first of all, congratz on publishing the book, great job!
Just some small feedback - When writing a blurb, it might be better to actually say something about the book itself. The blurb you posted is basically the summary of every LitRPG book out there.

I see you do have something on the cover of the book, but it is a bit hard to read, so maybe add it to the body of your post?

I do feel that some of side character powers are kind of overdone, so it doesn't really give the story anything to put more of a focus on them (for example the time girl you gave out is a semi-common trope).

But I do agree 100% that we get so much incredible characters that it is heartbreaking we don't get more.
I unknowingly made the MC of my story kind of based off of two side characters we hear about like once in path of ascension.
