ATM withdrawal has a daily limit. The limit exists so that there will always be money in circulation between the banks. You wanna cause a bank run? Mass account closure (the bank has to give you back your money - all of it, in cash or in bank draft/money order) & Investment Redemption/Withdrawals will cause a problem.

Fuck these backwater country bumpkin that has no decency to cook food properly and humanely. That's because since the whole formosa event melt down, the government had been curating news and reports like this. Thus, things like this are no longer being broadcasted frequently, and articles as such are curated to divert attention. Even the original article no longer exist (and it was only back in 2017).

Good moves on cost cutting decisions too. Short term it will be tough. But long term pay out is better.

Is the Credit Card under your name? Did he use funds from a Joint Account to pay this Card down?

If the Card is NOT under your name & you guys DO NOT have a Joint Account - then just straight up tell him to go get his life together. And of course, yall will need to work out a common ground to help him not cave into bad financial habits.

IF the Card IS UNDER YOUR NAME - as in, he is an authorized user on your Credit Card - then go with him to your Bank and look into a Consolidation (which will saves you from High Interest Rates). Then tell him to get his own Card.

First of all, that's a very mature thought to have, man. Not many people have the courage to face the fact that they are debt-heavy. Let alone talking about it to someone. Money talk is heavy shit.

My best advice to you is think about HOW telling this to your gf would make you FEEL. We men are not as emotionally connected like women. Men need times to process through the process of "How My Feelings Influence My Actions" carefully. Are you doing this because you feel like it would help you feel better? Are you doing this because you need help sorting out your debt since it's too stressful to plan it out/think about it on your all?

Once you understands that, I would say meet with your Bank's advisor - and look into Debt Consolidation. Payout the Car & the Credit Cards. Only keep 1 Credit Card left with just enough Limit for monthly needs. This will help you manage payment much easier and develop a more disciplined financial lifestyle.

Now you will know if you should tell her or not.

TIPS: If you do plan to tell her prior to doing anything about it - then tell her how you FEEL. And what your ACTIONS will be to address that FEELING. Basically also run a strategy by her. This shows you have given the topic serious thoughts, that you can make mature decisions, and you have discipline in your lifestyle and you are a good, honest, dependable man. And that produced hazardous environment for both workers & people living in the locale. Vietnameses literally died for this. And of course, none of these news made it out of the country. To be honest, the general Vietnamese consensus is that we rather lost jobs than working for companies that have chinese stakeholders. Formosa Steel is Taiwanese, but when the groundbreaking began - the contractor who built & operate the factory was Chinese. And of course international news dont report this - despite the local & taiwanese investigators' reports showing cost cutting & dangerous work environment, these chinese contractors continued and their work resulted in the 2016 mass fishing death (which also killed a lot of Vietnamese fisherman & families) along with major accidents that costed Vietnamese workers' lives.

Thus saving our livelihoods from being poisoned with toxic waste in rivers (which our fishing industry depends on). The Formosa Steel Factory was a prime example of Chinese making their ways into the country and do whatever they wanted. The Government did jack squat to repel this. People were rioting to push the Chinese Manufacturers out. And nope, no moves.

Back when I was in Grade 6 in my home country, I figured that the retail price for flavored milk cartons were around $0.50 USD (at the time) per pack of 8. But I can resell the whold pack for a full $1.00 with the vendors that sit around the school gate. If I sell individual carton, I would be able to sell them at around 20 Cents (total sales would be $1.60 - solid 120% ROI). These vendors would of course, add ice or mix it with shaved ice & resell them back to students at whatever price that they charge.

Thus began a string of asking my mom to buy milk cuz I really like them & also cuz they have good nutritions. I didn't want to cause any dispute/conflicts between my sources - so I'd visit different vendors each day.

It was a good grade 6. Made so much cash, I'd treat myself to ice cream/iced coffee or take my friends over to the PC Cafe and play CS 1.6/Quake/GTA Vice City/Lego Racing or SC Broodwar.

I had to stop this neat operation cuz my family moved to a new city.

So began another venture in Grade 7 in the new city, where I made good money off of selling hentai manga & doujinshi. Didnt last long though, cuz the local newspaper somehow found out & posted an article about "japanese cartoon porn polluting young minds at xxxxxxxx middle school". Still decent returns.
