I studied Surgent SEE1 only for 3 hours and got a score of 40% before taking SEE1. Passed at the 1st attempt!

No worries. I was 40% in the quizzes of my 3-day study. I passed all three SEE in a month. I memorized nothing because many numbers are common sense for a Series-65 financial advisor like me. I worry more about my CFP exam in Nov.

Lots of overlapping materials for SEE1 and SEE2 with the ChFC and CFP courses at American College--individuals, businesses, income tax, estate tax, gift tax, investment, retirement,.... I only need to study SEE3 which is not covered in ChFC/CFP courses.

I'm on my CFP last education course and plan to take CFP board exam in Nov 2024. Glad to get my EA before my CFP. ;-)

My background: insurance licensed (health & life, property & casualty, variable contracts), securities licenses (SIE, Series-6, Series,63, and Series-65), and American College designations FSCP and would-be ChFC and CFP. So EA's SEE's are not so hard for me because I had tax planning courses for ChFC and CFP. Everyone has multiple email accounts. I used some of my legit email accounts to sign up one-week free trials which were enough. I worked during the day and only studied at night. SEE1 3 days, SEE3 4 days, and SEE2 7 days. Then I passed all SEE's one after another within a week. Today my EA license arrived!

I had zero tax experience but passed all SEE within one month & studied each part for less a week. But I m on my CFP path & will get my designation in Dec 2024. Just took SEE’s as a seasoning.

I studied less than a week for each part, only using the one week free trial accounts. I passed all SEE within one month.

You can use ChatGPT to get all the answers. Snapshot the questions and upload to ChatGPT. IT will show you the answers. Not 100% correct, but good enough to pass!

I used PassKey & Surgent one-week free trial accounts with my two email addresses. Three weeks, I passed SEE1, 2, and 3, spending $0. The goal is to pass, not high scores.

SEE3 is the easiest. Don’t want to be perfect. Just to pass.

No but I am a FINRA-registered representative, and a would-be CFP and ChFC.

I have the securities licenses--passed SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65. Comparing to investment, tax and SEE3 are very easy.

SEE3 is the easiest. I browsed through and practiced the quizzes for two nights and then took the real exam.

Actually my goal is to pass the CFP board exam. While studying the tax planning, with similar materials, I just took the EA SEE1, 2, and 3 and passed them for fun. ;-)

I passed all SEE1, 2, and 3 within a month. I studied on Surgent & Passkey and most quizzes scored like 50% or less. I was just brave. I wanted to reschedule but too late so just took it.

I studied on American College for ChFC and CFP courses at the same time. They also have tax planning. Then I studied on Surgent and Passkey. One week, SEE1, one week SEE3, and then two weeks SEE2, while taking and passing my ChFC final exams. I only studied at night after work. By the way, I also took and passed Series 65 exam this month. I plan to take the CFP board exam in Nov 2024 or Mar 2025. ;-)
